Summary

Adyan understanding is an intercultural project joining, with the support of Anna Lindh Foundation, and Feed the Minds Foundation (that is supporting a part of the program related to resources and course development),6 partners, 3 from the Arab world (Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon) and 3 from Europe (Poland, Italy and France). The overall objective of the project is to develop a better mutual understanding regarding cultural dimensions of religious issues between and within Arab and European societies. It does so by fostering Cross-Cultural Teaching about Religious issues into youth education, via new technologies in communication. An online portal created for the program, will act as a platform, providing E-courses, and Teaching and Training Resources, bringing together trainers and learners from all partner organizations.

Target population
The target group of the project is young leaders and multipliers, who will integrate the concept of Cross Cultural E-learning in their teaching and training practices. Therefore this project is a pilot program that aims, in a long-term process, to be integrated within educational institutions' programs and teaching practices.
